Another day in paradise
It is just another day in Paradise……expensive Paradise. My kids attacked the mini bar and ordered room service without asking. OmG…………anyways the kids told me that this has been one of the best trips to the desert ever. They have had so much fun, and I have enjoyed seeing them so happy. We have also had a lot of loving/bonding moments. The only short coming was when they swindled me again in to going to Toys R Us. I guess I owe them money again. William went to the concierge and had the supposed five minute drive all mapped out. Well it was not five minutes and the concierge must have been on halucinagins. We drove around for an hour and never found it. I was not happy about that, let me tell you. Just after I was all relaxed. Wills felt bad and then I told him once I calmed down, that we all can learn a lesson from this. When I say no, I need to stick to it.
ANyways our hotel room looks like World War 3 hit. That is when it is time to collect our belonings, and leave a tip and LEAVE fast. We are going to go down to the pool for a little bit before the drive home. They met friends yesterday. Jac was in the pool, the entire day, playing vollyball. Kaylee was almost in the entire day and came close to learning to swim. I was dragged in the pool for a good part of it playing with the kids in between reading my magazines and books. I wanted to do yoga this morning but i am being summonzed to the pool, so I will have to do it at the pool and look like a loonie. We went out for teppanyaki last night. It was really fun. Our cook was funny and amazing. Wills caught several shrimp, as well as Jac and Kaylee caught her first one. She was so excited. My nephew Jordan met up with us both nights, and had a liquid dinner. I was proud of him for keeping his swear words down. He has a really high profile job up here and is enjoying the desert.
I hope we don’t get lost on the way home. This morning the kids and I watched a bio on Goldie Hawn, who many say I resemble in many ways. I was surprised that my kids enjoyed it as much as I did. I love hearing about people’s lives. Everyone has a story and usually interesting. Well gotta go to the pool. More to come later.
